    The Manufacturing Site Lead will oversee manufacturing and production floor projects while leading project through ahnds on and leadership practices.

    The Manufacturing Site Lead will be responsible for:

    Oversees project management, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met, while managing budget controls and tooling implementation to enhance production output.

    Manages resources to foster a collaborative environment emphasizing teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement across all safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

    Ensures adherence to safety and quality standards, collaborating with relevant departments to enhance existing programs and exceed safety and quality objectives.

    Guarantees on-time delivery to both internal and external customers, assessing manufacturing processes' cost-effectiveness and feasibility to drive efficiency improvements.

    Develops and mentors teams to achieve production targets, providing guidance to fellow manufacturing engineers and leading lean manufacturing initiatives.

    Demonstrates personal accountability and leads projects independently or within teams, maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

    Designs tools and dies using Solid Edge CAD software, optimizing designs for reduced lead time and manufacturing complexity while conducting stress and vibration analysis.

    Evaluates and redesigns existing tools and dies for performance and quality improvements, providing operator retraining as necessary.
    Designs low-cost automation systems, including electrical control selection and PLC programming, to enhance manufacturing processes.

    Conducts theoretical analysis, simulation, and experimentation to identify and justify process improvements, creating project plans and presentations supporting manufacturing engineering projects.

    Writes equipment specifications and qualification plans, ensuring adherence to specifications using statistical methods and design of experiments.

    Performs installation and commissioning of tools, dies, and equipment, while also reviewing technical bulletins for plant application and participating in quality and safety audits.

    Analyzes workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to design efficient equipment layouts, and collaborates with product and design engineers in design review meetings.

    Addresses customer inquiries and escalates manufacturing and delivery issues as needed, applying statistical methods to forecast future manufacturing requirements.

    The successful Manufacturing Site Lead will have the following qualifications:
    ~ BS in Engineering (manufacturing, mechanical).
    ~6+ years of experience in manufacturing.
    ~ Background in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO and CAD.
