    Title:
    Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist

    Responsibilities:
    Considers patient rights in performance of job duties and responsibilities.
    Participates as a team member in support of the total perioperative process.
    Contributes to the progress and development of the approved Quality Management Program.
    Supports risk management and participates in programs directed to patient and staff safety.
    Contributes to the quality management process; identifies role and contributions upon request.
    Objectively evaluates suggestions, grievances, and processes to identify opportunities to improve performance and quality of care.
    Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
    Maintains and updates instrument cards and surgeons' preference cards
    Responds in a timely manner to meet the needs of the patient and physician
    Documents patient-care records and other forms according to facility policies and procedures
    Accurately advises others responsible for care of the patient about the patient's status

    What We Need in You:
    High School graduate or equivalent
    Certified Surgical Technologist or Tech in Surgery Certification preferred
    Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
    Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association required
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association preferred
    Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique

    Physical, Vaccines and Titers:
    PPD/TB, Covid, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella required
