- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.
- Researches, develops/acquires and implements improvement systems, methodologies and tools to improve operations.
- Collaborates with Leaders to develop and revise screening indicators.
- Provides on-site training and follow-up for performance improvement teams.
- Performs regulatory documentation preparation, submission, and maintenance. Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Assists in policy and procedure review process. Coordinates quality improvement initiatives.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date preferred.
- High school diploma/GED required
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing preferred or equivalent based on professional licensure.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a clinical role and/or behavioral health experience.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
