The position of Spanish Teacher Grades (9-12) is available at a school in the USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing students' knowledge and skills in comprehending, speaking, reading and writing Spanish.+
Responsibilities
- Develops and administers foreign language education curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives. ,
- Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning. ,
- Lectures students on grammar syntax sentence paragraph structure composition vocabulary proper word usage colloquialisms communication translation of literature. ,
- Evaluates student progress periodically using standardized tests grades reports etc. Modifies instructional methods to fit individual needs including those with special requirements., Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning progress modifies instructional methods to fit individual student's needs conducts individual small group instruction as needed., Continues to acquire professional knowledge learn current developments educational field by attending seminars workshops meetings conducting research organizes maintains system accurate complete record keeping grading reporting required district procedures laws ensures effective communication parents establishes maintains standards behavior functional learning atmosphere classroom coordinates other staff members participates faculty meetings committees selects requisitions appropriate books aids supplies equipment inventory records performs related tasks assigned Principal central office administrators designated Superintendent.
