    Responsibilities

    The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and overseeing nursing care, services, and health education for nursing home residents.

    • Supervise the care and services provided by the LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members attending to residents.
    • Administer medications accurately and safely to residents.
    • Evaluate residents' health and promptly inform the physician of any changes; implement new orders without delay.
    • Create a care plan based on assessments and provide nursing care accordingly.
    • Implement suitable nursing interventions to stabilize a resident's condition or prevent complications.
    • Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA's) and the formulation of a care plan.

    Qualifications

    • Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care environment
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
    • CPR certification
