    Description


    Our client, a established company that provides turnkey integrated paint finishing process solutions, as a result of considerable and consistent growth and expansion is currently looking to hire an Electrical Control Engineer.


    This professional will be responsible for managing Automotive and General Industrial Paint Finishing projects as it relates to Process, Conveyor, and Robotic Automation controls.

    In this role, you will be working closely with the Design/Mechanical engineering teams, overseeing Electrical installation and Controls subcontractors, conducting meetings with the Customer, and reporting project status.

    Candidate Profile :
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering0-5+ years of Automotive Paint Finishing experienceAbility to read and understand Electrical schematicsPLC/HMI literateTroubleshooting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with applicable codes (NFPA, NEC)Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


    Key Responsabilities:


    Review and understand customer project specificationsDevelop scope of work for Controls & Electrical installation subcontractorsReview and understand subcontractor proposalsParticipate in Customer and subcontractor contract award negotiationsReview and approve electrical schematics, PLC logic, and HMI graphicsReview Control panel fabricationCreate requisitions for purchased equipmentDetermine electrical load utility requirementsCoordinate Building and Process equipment requirementsCoordinate equipment interlock signals between subcontractorsMaintain Control panel fabrication & field installation schedulesCoordinate IT manufacturing requirements, i.e.

    Plant-wide Fault monitoring, part tracking, etc.
    Create & resolve electrical installation punch listAssist with equipment commissioning activitiesParticipate with Customer equipment functionality validation and acceptance activitiesCreate/modify company Electrical engineering standardsMaintain ISO/QOS company documentation requirements
