Venture Dynamics is looking for Structural Welders to fill multiple shipyard work positions.

THE WORK LOCATION FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE IN THE Newport News, VA AREATo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability desired. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform NDE, WPQT, FCAW with ceramic tape, single vee, open butt in 1G, 2G and 3G positions.
Perform NDE, WPQT, FCAW with open butt and back gouge in 3G and 4G positions.
Performs the above listed WPQT's under limited supervision. Perform grinding and joint preparation for NDE and inspection processes.
