Senior level engineer demonstrating technical expertise, preferably with liquid processing, separators, evaporation techniques, spray drying, distillation and/or membrane filtration in the food/pharma/nutrition industries.
Responsible for controlling such equipment as spray dryers, evaporation towers, distillation columns, membrane filtration systems, freeze dryers, etc. to effect required chemical or physical change.
Leverage data analytics and collaboration with technical team to identify trends, provide process and equipment performance evaluations, and recommend improvements to optimize performance and reliability
Research and evaluate alternate technologies to achieve desired process results in a way that optimizes cost, efficiency, ease of operation/maintenance, etc.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.
Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and curiosity along with a desire to share knowledge with others to build the competency of the whole team.
Requires minimum of BS Engineering (MS, PhD Chemical Engineering preferred) with a minimum of 8 years evaporation and filtration experience, preferably in Food or Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
