Duties
- Assist in menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional balance, and presentation excellence
- Prepare and cook meals following established recipes and food safety standards
- Handle food with care, maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation protocols at all times
- Serve meals efficiently while providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold health regulations
- Use knife skills and culinary techniques to enhance meal presentation and flavor profiles
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles preferred
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety practices essential
- Experience with fine dining or catering services is highly desirable
- Demonstrated proficiency in kitchen skills including knife handling and food presentation
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on serving others in a professional manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
