    Travel + Leisure Co. currently seeks a Senior Accountant. The individual in this role will be responsible for the timely compilation of financial information leading to the accurate preparation of the financial statements Wyndham Destinations. This includes, but is not limited to, posting of journal entries into the general ledger, bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, audit schedules, and other ad-hoc accounting functions.

    This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.

    How You'll Shine:
    • Prepare journal entries essential to building an accurate general ledger
    • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts in accordance with departmental policy.
    • Prepare and review quarterly reporting schedules used for internal and external reporting.
    • Assist with research and analysis in support of the quarterly audit.
      Assist in the coordination of and preparation for financial audits as required.
    • Monitor banking activity to ensure funds are flowing through the correct accounts.
    • Maintain internal control environment and ensure accuracy.
    • Develop process flows, identify process constraints and implement improvements to the department.
    • May support management in the development of Accountants in lower levels.
    • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis in support of special requests.
    What You'll Bring
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA preferred.
    • Excellent strategic, analytical and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and team environment.
    • Advanced understanding of GAAP accounting
    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, be well organized, perform under stressful situations and communicative effectively.
    • Advanced excel skills, Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Oracle and Hyperion financial systems helpful.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience working within a general ledger and supporting month end close and reporting.
