    Position Details:

    • Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
    • Location: Peoria, IL
    • Start Date: ASAP
    • End Date: May 24, 2024
    • Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15 am to 3:00 pm
    • Employment Type: Full-Time
    • Caseload: Approximately 40 students
    • Certification Needed: COTA
    • Number of Buildings: 3

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
    • Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, teachers, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and functional goals
    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
    • Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to address students' sensory, motor, and self-help skills
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outes
    • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with parents/guardians to support students' progress and success
