Order Entry Specialist
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Order Entry Specialist.
As an integral part of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of all orders received, as well as managing various operational tasks to support the smooth functioning of our order fulfillment process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter all orders received completely and accurately, adhering to specified timelines and any special instructions or requirements.
Email customer-specific shipping paperwork to designated warehouses, ensuring proper tracking and alignment with order numbers.
Send order acknowledgments and confirmations to customers upon request.
Identify and correct any errors in order entry, continuously striving to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Manage all Mapadoc import and export processes for processing EDI orders.
Maintain paperless procedures and explore opportunities for additional paperless initiatives.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in written composition preferred.
Advanced experience using Microsoft Office software, including proficiency in preparing correspondence, generating reports, utilizing spreadsheets, and creating presentations.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
