- Pull contaminated trash and laundry on all elevations in RCA
- Stock PCs and supplies though out the RCA
- Transport radioactive material
- Load the DAW C-land with the rad trash and PCs
- Maintain and decontaminate rooms
- Masslinn mop each floor in the RCA for general housekeeping
- Mop each floor in the RCA for general housekeeping
- Maintain and change out the HEPA filters on the vacuums and HEPAs
- Decon and maintain PAPRs and other respiratory equipment
- Decon/clean up spills in the radiologically controlled area (RCA)
- Operation of the wet tech booth deconning misc. plant equipment and maintenance tools in room X-250
- Boron removal on valves and other plant equipment with work orders inside the RCA and CTM
- Inspect sumps for debris and remove as needed
- Maintain Syntempo for decon work orders
- Clean/decon any spills caused by maintenance activities that are < 50kdpm/100cm2.
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
- Prior Nuclear experience required
- 12 months Decon Technician experience, preferred
- Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights
- Able to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear plant
- May require a respirator physical and training
- Ability to work in adverse conditions such as high temperatures, confined spaces, etc.
- May require long hours during refueling outages.
