    Description

    The Receptionist role will be responsible for welcoming guests and patients, answering phones and other administrative tasks. We are seeking an individual to cover the reception area on Fridays from 8:30- 5:00 pm throughout the summer, and occasional coverage for time away throughout the summer months. Additional hours may be available providing administrative support, for the right candidate. The ideal candidate is reliable, can multitask, is open to working on various projects and tasks and helps everyone who comes through our door feel welcomed.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Welcomes visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.
    • Establishes and maintains positive rapport with patients, families, external contacts, staff, and others Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
    • Upholds patients' rights and confidentiality.
    • Ensures efficient and safe daily operation of work environment to include, but not limited to, answering phones, sorting, and distributing mail, maintaining necessary office supplies, forms, and equipment. Maintains neat and orderly reception area.
    • Completes tasks and projects as assigned by supervisor.
    Requirements
    • Associate degree or equivalent certifications and experience
    • 1-3 years in an office receptionist role (preferably in Medical Office)
    • Ability to multitask with numerous interruptions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable with Microsoft Office products, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer systems and software.
    • Comfort supporting diverse populations and taking directions from multiple sources.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding patients' rights and in alignment with company policies.
