What You'll Do:

• Oversee and lead the technical design effort, coordinating with three or more designers or drafters.
• Review customer drawings and specifications to determine design requirements and feasibility.
• Lead discipline-specific design tasks on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with proposal scope.
• Develop comprehensive design documentation, including single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
• Mentor and supervise a team of designers and drafters, guiding them through complex projects.

What We're Looking For:

• Associate's degree or technical trade school completion in CAD, drafting, or a related field, plus 15 years of experience or 20 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience in a 3D CAD environment is a must.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD MEP or CADWorx is a plus.
• Experience directing the activities of other designers and working in the metals industry is preferred.

Your Qualifications:

• Detailed knowledge of electrical equipment design and installation, in line with the National Electric Code.
• Proven experience in managing smaller projects and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.
