We are seeking a skilled and experienced line cook to join our team. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes quickly and efficiently, while maintaining high quality and presentation standards. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in menu planning and preparation
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Coordinate timing of food being prepared with other line cooks to ensure timely delivery
Keep a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Follow proper food handling and storage procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
Ability to follow recipes and adhere to portion control guidelines
Excellent knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
