    Full TimeJob Summary:

    The Senior Data Integration Developer will design, develop, test, implement and support ETL/ELT (extract, load, transform) processes that pull data from various source systems and integrate it into the data warehouse.

    This role will lead other team members and function as an integrator between business needs and technology by creating data solutions to meet business challenges.


    Minimum Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. Five years of enterprise-level experience, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree may be considered.


    Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:
    None

    Work Experience:
    Minimum 5 years of related experience

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Working knowledge of key health data standards, including but not limited to: Health Level 7 (HL7), Meaningful Use, HIPAA, and other data security requirements.

    Ability to model data attributes and make table structure changes as needed.

    Advanced knowledge with querying and analyzing data from various sources including, data warehouses, flat-file exports, HL7, interfaces or electronic health record (EHR) vendor application programming interface (API's).

    Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production data pipelines.

    Working knowledge of data exchanges using various types of encryption and transfer methodologies including web services, file transfer protocol (ftp) and e-mail.

    Knowledge of Agile methodologies and processes that can effectively manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple clients, project timelines, and deliverables simultaneously. Ability to produce high quality work deliverables leveraging industry best practices. Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    Interprets data requirements for various projects, analyzes source data systems and designs appropriate method to extract the correct data with good performance.

    Analyzes source system data to assess data quality and works with technical/business representatives to determine strategies for handling data anomalies.

    Extracts, transforms, and loads consumer, clinical, and financial healthcare data from various sources into a centralized data respiratory which feed reporting and analytics products.

    Integrates ranges from simple comma-separated values (CSV) and extensible markup language (XML) file transfers to complex real-time data transfers. Implements new data integrations and support changes to existing integrations. Monitors all ETL operations to ensure timely transfer of data between systems. Writes test scripts, evaluates results, and conducts end-to-end testing. Performs troubleshooting, analysis, exception handling, and re-processing as necessary to ensure reliable data operations. Provides guidance and mentoring to other team members.
