    About the Agency:

    The Idaho Public Charter School Commission (IPCSC) provides oversight and support for over 60 state-authorized charter schools across the state.

    The IPCSC team collaborates with many education stakeholders including charter school board members, administrators, faculty, parents and students, as well as state-level education agencies, legislators, and the IPCSC Commissioners.


    Position Description:

    The IPCSC Program Manager provides support, resources, oversight, and training to charter school leadership in the areas of charter school law, academic success, and board governance.

    This position participates in new charter school application processes, annual performance reporting, and statewide data collection.

    The ideal candidate for this position will have strong customer service skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and possess problem-solving abilities.

    Areas of technical skills required include data entry and analysis, report and document development, presentation skills, and research and interpretation of laws and policies.


    Job Responsibilities:
    + Conduct school site visits, board and lottery observations, provide support to schools in areas of policies and procedures, and develop/deliver training both online and in person. + Compile, evaluate, and report on charter school procedures, performance measurements, and best practices. + Support schools with resources and training in areas such as board procedures, academic standards, and charter school laws. + Design and create reports for IPCSC meetings for presentation to various government agencies, schools, and the public.
