- Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and applicable local codes
- Prepare shop drawings, layout plans, hydraulic calculations, and material take-offs
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination
- Coordinate designs with project managers, engineers, field teams, and AHJs
- Address plan review comments and revise drawings as needed
- Support permit submittals and approvals
- Provide field support and resolve design-related issues during construction
- Maintain accurate design documentation and project records
- Ensure all designs meet company quality and safety standards
- NICET Level III Certification in Fire Sprinkler Systems (required)
- Minimum 5+ years of fire sprinkler design experience
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and AHJ requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus)
- Experience with hydraulic calculation software (HydraCALC, HASS, SprinkCAD, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experience with industrial, commercial, or multi-state projects
