Position:
Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Client Summary:

With over 15 locations covering everything from emergency care, labor and delivery, pediatrics, surgery, and oncology, our client serves as one of California's leading healthcare systems.
Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst plays an integral part of our client's broader accounting and finance team by consolidating more than 40 entities across their network.
Key responsibilities:
Support timely month-end close procedures and subsequent consolidation for 40+ healthcare entities
Contribute to quarterly and annual financial reports, including preparation of the financial statements and all related footnotes & addendums
Prepare PBCs, schedules, and all other requests for information as part of the annual audit process, and for any internal audits as needed
Support all tax & regulatory filings, including annual 990 and 5500 compliance filings
Work closely with members of the Accounting/Finance departments by contributing to month-end close tasks or any GAAP-related inquiries
Prepare any technical accounting research pending new pronouncements or regulations, and assist with drafting of applicable accounting/departmental memos
Develop and maintain excellent working knowledge of Planful and any other departmental tools used to prepare, consolidate, and publish financial statements or other financial information
Support ad-hoc projects and reporting as needed
Qualifications and attributes for success:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a concentration in the following
3-5+ years of GAAP experience, either in public accounting or public accounting + private industry
Experience consolidating the financial statements for multiple entities, including entities with varied reporting structures/requirements
Experience preparing financial statement packages and/or SEC filings
Not-for-profit and/or healthcare experience preferred (ex. experience with form 990 compliance)
High degree of financial statement literacy, discretion, and confidentiality
Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills
