    Opportunity:

    RN - Stepdown

    Job Details:


    • Work 36 or 48 hour schedules with potential for schedule changes during interview process

    • Patient ratios of 1:4/5 during days, nights, and weekends

    • Weekend coverage required as needed

    • On-call responsibilities as needed

    • Float between like units and campuses within 20 miles when necessary

    • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (3+ years preferred)

    • Level I Trauma experience required

    • Travel experience required - must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment

    • Large hospital experience required

    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

    • Skills required: Telemetry, IV Start

    • Active RN license in state or compact license required

    • Cerner experience preferred

    • Must live at least 100 miles from facility

    • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

    • Must be willing to work holidays during end-of-year period

    • All requested time off must be included at time of submission

    Facility:

    This Level I Trauma Center operates as a short-term acute care facility featuring a 48-bed cardiac stepdown unit designed for multidisciplinary care. The unit provides bedside and telemetry monitoring for patients requiring close observation of cardiac, pulmonary, and other disease processes. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
