Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas and we're looking to add a 2nd Shift Electrical Technician to our team.
The Electrical Technician will apply basic electrical knowledge to the operation, troubleshooting, repair and installation of a variety of electrical/electronic systems and equipment, such as: single and multiple phase alternating current circuits of varying voltage, current & frequency; DC power and control circuits; 480 VAC 3 Phase power wiring, distribution & control systems in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair in a manufacturing environment
- Working with voltages up to 480 VAC
- Working knowledge of PLC's
- Installation and troubleshooting of relay and PLC controlled equipment
- Working with AC/DC motors and drives
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Prior experience working with motors, transformers, control systems, and power distribution
- Proficient in repairs of Control Systems, PLC's, A/C and D/C Drives
- Need to have own tools required for the job
- Must be able to read blueprints, understand tolerances and measurements and work with standard and metric sizes
