Looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in northeast Texas near Cookville, TX? This pediatric hospitalist position offers flexible call-only coverage with a supportive team and manageable patient volumes


Opportunity Highlights Location:
Northeast Texas, near Cookville, TX

Coverage Type:
Call-only shifts (7 AM ??? 7 AM)

Setting:
Inpatient-only; no outpatient duties required

Start Date:
Immediate start available Duration: Ongoing, with one weekend per month commitment

Patient Volume:
Daily admissions: 1???2 Patients seen per shift: 4???8
Bed Details: 3 pediatric beds and 14 nursery beds

Key Requirements Licensure:
Active Texas license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)

Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Board Certification:
Board certified or board eligible in

Pediatrics Facility Support Trauma Level:
Level III

Pediatric Level:
Level I Temporary hospital privileges are available to expedite onboarding. Specialty Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

Ventilation management (pediatric) Attending high-risk deliveries and C-sections Intubation and central line placement Nursery Level I and Level II/NICU care Additional Details Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Support Services:
Full 24-hour availability for general surgery, laboratory, and radiology
