Job DetailsJob Location307 OPERATIONS OFFICEResponsibilitiesPerform diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs on the organizations tractor trailers, units, and equipmentTroubleshoot and repair tractor trailer engines, aftertreatment systems, fuel systems, HVAC, brakes, lights, 12V systems, airbrake systemsPerform after-repair inspections on equipmentPerform valve lash and engine brake adjustmentsUtilize diagnostic tools and software to test engine performance and fuel systemsFollow manufacturer's torque sequence to remove and replace fluid end packing, valves, seats, and stay rodsRemove and replace packing sleeves on Kerr fluid endsDiagnose power end issues and failuresRemove and replace pinion seal, rotary seal, pony rod seals, pony rods, power end cross headsRemove and replace injectors and injection sleevesInstall inspection covers with new gasketsDrill out all broken bolts on power end frame, re-tap if necessaryProgram Common Powertrain Controller (CPC), Motor Control Module (MCM), and Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM)Troubleshoot derates and fault codes associated with the aftertreatment or one box systemRemove and replace aftertreatment systems (i.e., one box system, DPF filters, etc.)Utilize and interpret wiring diagrams to diagnose and repair all electrical systemsPerform basic wear and tear checks on equipmentEnsure equipment is cleaned and lubricatedSafely operate forklift and overhead hoistPerform housekeeping duties and maintain a hazard free work environmentAccurately document and keep records of all maintenance activitiesPerform miscellaneous clerical duties as neededSafely drive a company vehicle day or night, on various road types, and in all weather conditionsMaintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Other duties as assignedQualificationsExperience performing maintenance on tractor trailers, electrical systems, commercial vehicles, power ends and fluid endsMaintaining a current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record, requiredMust be forklift operator certified or willing to attend and pass organization approved forklift operator training, requiredHigh school education or equivalent, required; technical or Associates degree, preferredBasic knowledge of hydraulic fracturing equipmentMust be able to properly install power end oil lube pressure pump and regulatorMust be able to read and follow diagrams, manufacturer specifications, blueprints, and instructions written in EnglishMust have proficient knowledge of system diagnostic tools and software (i.e., DETROIT DDDL, Cat ET, and Cummins InSite)Must be air brake certifiedMust be physically able to safely perform a power end swing on a hydraulic fracturing pump using an overhead hoistBasic computer skills and able to quickly learn work related software (i.e., Microsoft Office 365 applications, Power Bi, etc.)Good troubleshooting and problem solving skillsPersonable, reliable, with a good attitude and strong work ethicMust have knowledge of and practice safe hand tool useMust be physically able to safely drive a company vehicle day or night, on various road types, and in all weather conditionsAvailable to work a 14/7 shift, can safely perform required duties during a 12+ hour workday that will include days, nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be physically able safely to lift 50 lbs.
