    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION: In this role, you'll be in charge of putting together project budgets, keeping them in check, and making sure the team sticks to them. Plus, managing costs, negotiating changes during the project, and summarizing expenses once it's all done. Sounds like a fun challenge, right?

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    • Putting together initial budget estimates for new projects and refining them as needed.
    • Estimating any changes to the project during construction or installation.
    • Keeping project estimates updated throughout the entire design process, from blue sky to construction documents. Working with teams from different places.
    • Building a cost database for various attractions and facilities.
    • Collaborating with the team on 'value engineering' to avoid overspending. Researching and suggesting cost-saving materials or methods.
    • Staying on top of cost trends and construction practices in different markets. Developing cost factors for different locations.
    • Wrapping up projects with a detailed cost summary.
    • Following safety procedures and being part of Environment, Health & Safety responsibilities.
    • Taking on other tasks as needed.

    ROLE SCOPE: You'll be dealing with unique situations that require applying general policies. Your input will influence decisions that need a delicate touch.

    QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate degree or technical school certification is a must. A Bachelor's degree in relevant fields is a big plus.

    EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years working on construction projects related to entertainment, with knowledge of show and ride estimating. Your experience will be valuable here!
