We are seeking a Senior Python/Django Backend Engineer.

About the project

The big international company whose main business is related to gift cards and their functioning: issuing and distribution of cards, processing of payments, exchanging, refilling, etc.

It also operates with many other types of digital content like eGifts, incentive cards, promotions, rewards, etc. The company has several e-commerce sites and platforms helping distribute the gift card products. Also, the company has core services that manage gift cards in the ecosystem.

The first project will be related to the automation of the new customer onboarding process.

You'll work with the following stack:

Python, Django, Django REST, SQL Alchemy, React, MySQL, S3, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker.

7 Engineers, 2 Full-Stack, 2 Back-End, 1 Front-End, 2 QA (California)

Scrum


Work schedule:
flexible, can be

shifted to late hours if it's Central EU (for example from 11-12:00 till 20-21:00).

We're looking for you if you have

4+ years experience in the software development area;

Very good working understanding of Python, Django/Django REST frameworks;

Very good working understanding of databases SQL and NoSQL, experience with SQL Alchemy;

Good working understanding of Docker;

Commercial experience with AWS S3, RabbitMQ, Redis, Memcached, ELK stack;


English:
Upper intermediate;


Would be a plus:
Hands-on experience with JS/React

E-commerce experience (orders, transactions, payments, fulfillment, inventory, taxes, etc.)
