    HDR is looking for a Site Civil BIM Designer to join our Building Engineering Services Group. This individual's primary responsibilities will be:

  • Working closely with Project Manager, Project Engineer, and a multi-discipline design team on a daily basis.
  • Supporting the design and production of civil site design documents related to site development for various types of projects and clients including private development projects, federal projects, site development for power and water/wastewater projects, industrial clients, etc.
  • Supporting the development of full sets of construction drawings in Civil 3D
  • Creating and managing plan sets using HDR CAD standards.
  • The development of BIM execution plans and coordinating with BIM discipline leads to optimizing coordination and ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Perform other duties as needed

    Qualifications

    Required Qualification

  • Associate's degree related to C3D/BIM drawing production (or related experience in place of an Associate's degree)
  • Minimum 3 years of applicable experience
  • Civil3D proficiency
  • A strong understanding of design concepts including earthwork, surface, site grading, pipe network, etc.
  • Possess strong communication and coordination skills, and self-motivated and detail-oriented

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Navisworks, MicroStation, and InRoads experience
  • Local candidates are preferred; the preferred location is Columbus OH
