    McCree is looking for a Construction Estimator to join our Team The Construction Estimator analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services by performing the following duties.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

    • Provide Project Manager and superintendent with information on their project estimates.
    • Follow all company estimating policies and prepare responsible estimates
    • Visit Job Sites prior to preparing estimates
    • Consult with coordinator, clients, vendors, or other individuals, to discuss and formulate estimates and to resolve issues as directed by the coordinator.
    • Allow for review of estimates by Coordinator and Pres./CEO
    • Preparing professional proposals for submittal to customers.
    • Evaluate Bid Documents- develop bid strategy
    • Complete In-House Estimate- Quantity Survey, Develop summary sheets, Unit and Crew Sum prices
    • Subcontractor/Vendor Solicitation- Develop Subcontractor/Vendor List. Determine Document Procurement. Write Bid Memorandum. Communicate Addenda and Specific Instructions.
    • Develop the cut and add document
    • Complete the proposal to owner or Bid Form- List of Qualification, Exclusions Alternate, Cost breakdown, Letter, Bid Form, Alternates and other Bid Requirements
    • Conduct studies to develop and establish standard hours and related cost data to effect cost reductions.
    • Prepare As Bid Budget for Acquisition
    • Prepare Estimating Documents for Transfer Meeting to P.M.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Technical Requirements:

    Computer literate, utilizing all McCree software proficiently (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Acrobat, Project, Primavera, Outlook and Procore)
