What You Can Expect

As the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Senior Advisor in Houston, Texas for ENGIE's Global Energy Management & Sales (GEM) IT team you will provide real-time operational support for SCADA / GMS systems. Every day you will report to the Information Technology (IT) Director to ensure that the critical SCADA / GMS system used by System Control Center operators, Realtime Desk are reliable. The position will also provide technical support for maintenance such as system upgrades.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in IT and OT environments.
A minimum of seven (7) years' experience in application support and development with some IT project Management experience
Expert understanding of the NERC CIP requirements and prior program implementation experience
Deep knowledge of SCADA protocols such as DNP 3.0 over TCP/IP, PI historians, and IT security related applications
Proficient with Windows operating systems and commonly used programming technologies such as C, C#, Java, Visual Basic, .net and SQL
Experienced working on commissioning Generation Plants (Wind/ Solar/ Battery)
Familiarity with different energy markets (ERCOT, PJM, ISO-NE, SPP, CAISO, MISO)

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 - $172,500 USD annually

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
