    Description

    SUMMARY:
    In addition to performing tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another.

    As the Clamp Lift Operator/Material Handler, you will need to be extremely careful not to damage the goods and position them accurately.

    Your other responsibilities will include but not limited to:


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Move paper, printing materials and other products to and from the Warehouse to the Press Line or the Bindery Department.

    Load and unload trucks.
    Inspect and maintain equipment daily.
    Use a handheld bar code scanner.
    Use of a Slitter Machine.
    Track inventory and complete warehouse tally sheets indicating material weight, size and number of skids.
    Other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible in fulfilling obligations.
    Must work well with others.
    Must be flexible and open to change when needed.
    Must have the ability to follow instructions.
    Must be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders.
    The ability to work up to 10-to-12-hour shifts.
    The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Base knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
