As a Software Application Engineer at Workday, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle in a metadata-driven development scrum team. During the analysis phase, you will collaborate with Product Managers and QA to review and refine requirements for the product. During the design, you will take functional input and build a technical design that best implements these requirements. This will include crafting a model of business objects and their relationships, which represents the functional domain as specified in the functional analysis. You will work primarily with Workday's proprietary development stack, while having some exposure to other full-stack development teams. During the implementation, you will build all technical artifacts required to realize the system functionality. Partnering with QA and Automation peers, you will be responsible for the quality of the delivered product during the testing phase. This includes the creation of test cases for all business processes, the execution of test scripts, and the resolution of any problems identified by the test scripts. Fix customer reported issues. Mentor and learn from other team members through pair programming, code reviews, knowledge sharing, hackathons, etc

Basic Qualifications - Sr Associate Software Application Engineer
