    JOB SUMMARY:


    Following established conventions and guidelines, codes and abstracts the medical records of the diverse population of ER records with facility E&M levels.

    Meets departmental accuracy and production standards.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    (1) One to (3) Three years of experience.
    Education – associate's degree preferred – Health Information Management, Health Information Technology or any related field.
    Certifications required – CCS, CPC, RHIA or RHIT
