    Description

    Shift:

    6AM-2:30PM Monday- Friday

    Two weekends required per year for inventory count.

    Position Summary:

    Reports to the Manager, of Inventory and Training within Materials Management and is responsible for being the primary remote customer contact regarding the distribution of supplies, supply room management, and equipment pick-up/delivery activities for specific areas within the hospital. Responsible for establishing and revising par level standards, ensuring soiled equipment pick-up from soiled utility rooms, and checking for expired emergency, equipment and crash carts. Responsible for generating monthly/quarterly performance improvement reports, business reviews, monthly statistics and dashboard metrics.

    Minimum Education/Experience:

    • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Will consider a strong candidate with solid background in Materials Management and current pursuit of an AA degree.
    • Three years experience in Inventory Management functions.

    Knowledge:

    • Proficient in medical material functions MDC, CSD, Receiving & Distributions
    • Requires knowledge of all Customer Service Representative, Supply Coordinator and Shift
    • Supervisor's responsibilities.
    • Knowledge of Inventory Control fundamentals.
    • An in-depth knowledge of remote zone area responsibilities related to the delivery of supplies and equipment.
    • Familiarity w/Distribution Center Model and Procurement Functions.
    • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Pyxis, and Point of use, spreadsheet and Database Systems.

    Skills:

    • Ability to efficiently analyze work methods and monitor inventory levels.
    • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills necessary to communicate with hospital and departmental personnel, regarding questions, inquiries, policies and complaint resolution.
    • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including: conflict management, team building and customer service.
    • Must be able to do project planning and have management skills.
    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with varying levels of personnel.
    • Ability to complete and maintain records, prepare reports, perform calculations, and communicate instructions to workers.
