    Job Summary

    As a full-service pharmacy, we provide all of the medications that the treatment team prescribes. Our team of highly trained professionals include pharmacists, technicians, and other staff who understand the day-to-day challenges. The ValleyRx team is here to ensure that our customers always have the most comprehensive and convenient experience possible; now including prescription delivery.

    The Pharmacy Coordinator provides administrative service and support for the pharmacy department. The Coordinator assists with the completion of pharmacy orders, provides general customer service, completes administrative tasks, and supports the dispensing and delivery of pharmaceutical medications.

    Essential Functions

    • Performs daily cash reconciliation and prepares bank deposits
    • Cashes out clients at the pharmacy pick-up window
    • Verifies and organizes the daily medication order
    • Prepares daily deliveries for pharmacy courier
    • Provides back-up support to the courier and delivers medications as needed
    • Performs billing tasks for patient and funding accounts
    • Maintains medication shelf organization
    • Processes product returns
    • Completes various administrative tasks as assigned

    Requirements:
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • No previous experience necessary
    • Driving position - requires a minimum age of 21 and a current driver's license

    Preferred Qualifications

    • One year of customer service experience
    • Previous pharmacy experience
