What Your Role Entails And How You Will Contribute

As a Financial Analyst in this position, you will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining Hallmark's financial reporting systems using Oracle Essbase, Oracle Planning, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and DRM (Data Relationship Management).

This is a unique opportunity to be fully engaged in all aspects of financial reporting from understanding the source of data, product and customer hierarchies, the allocation processes, and key financial reporting.

The analyst will support Essbase databases, Planning applications and the processes required to load and maintain the Oracle/Hyperion systems.

Also, as business needs change (due to SAP upgrades, internal reorganizations, new customers, new business issues), the analyst will work with all levels of finance to identify the reporting, analysis, modeling, planning, and performance requirements.

The analyst will then implement the changes/ improvements with assistance from I/T support, other Business System Administrators, other Financial Analysts and Hyperion external resources as needed.

This opportunity allows the analyst to build and advance professional development within Information Technology (I/T) and the Finance division. Significant interface and interaction with Hallmark's Information Technology division and Oracle/Hyperion external resources.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or Finance
At least three (3) years of experience in Oracle Essbase applications with skills to create and maintain Essbase calculation scripts, maxl scripts, reports, build/load rules, Smart View, and partitions
General understanding of SQL and databases

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Oracle/Hyperion products (Essbase, Planning, HFM, DRM) or other multi-dimensional products
Financial acumen
Ability to work in a multitask environment and within a team setting
Strong technical expertise and communication skills
Detail focused. Results oriented.

Additional Details

This is a progressive role and will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.

The salary range for this job is between $60,000 and $95,000. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.

This is a remote opportunity, however if the final selected candidate's permanent address is within the KC metro region, the role will be classified as hybrid.
