    Summary Up to $30K Sign On Bonus Available Please Note: The hours for this role are 80 hours biweekly, 4 -10 hour shifts Monday - Saturday GENERAL SUMMARY The MRI Technologist collaborates with leaders and radiologists to ensure high-quality images and patient safety. Reports to department leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Performs and assists with MRI examinations and procedures under Radiologist supervision for medical diagnosis. - Adheres to protocols and regulations for patient safety and a secure work environment. - Supports inpatient, ED, and outpatient imaging, performing specialty procedures. - Works with Sedation and Anesthesia departments for prompt add-on/urgent examinations. - Assists in staff training, patient care, and maintaining safety standards. - Evaluates MRI images for quality and maintains safety protocols. - Seeks management guidance for unusual circumstances. - Coverage as Charge/Lead MRI Technologist when required. - Other assigned duties. LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS - Registered Technologist with one year Radiology/Diagnostic experience. - Certification as MRI Technologist by ARRT. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - Proficient in MRI principles, procedures, and scanner operation/maintenance. - Interpersonal and analytical skills for effective communication and healthcare teamwork. - CPR Training required within 45 days of hire. WORKING CONDITIONS - Performs procedures in a healthcare environment with some hazards. - Exposure to various substances and conditions; following safety procedures is essential.
