    Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the food manufacturing facility, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control processes.
  • Lead and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high-performing workforce.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, R&D, Quality Assurance, and Engineering, to drive operational excellence and achieve company goals.
  • Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and minimize waste throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and expansion.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning, promoting a positive work environment where employees are engaged and empowered to succeed.

    The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of food processing techniques, equipment, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP).
  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving measurable results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Effective Communication Skills - verbal and written - a must; bilingual a plus.
  • Prior experience in Food Manufacturing.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership and ability to train and develop subordinates, including the ability to conduct training sessions for all plant personnel.
  • Must be willing to work occasional weekends and long days when necessary.
  • Deep knowledge of production management
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
