    About the Position

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Summer Camp Assistant. As part of this role, you will be responsible for planning engaging activities, coordinating with campers and staff members, and working closely with us to deliver exceptional experiences at White Clay Creek State Park.

    Duties & Responsibilities

      • Develop and implement educational programs for schools and special events
      • Lead school environmental education programs tied to state standards to increase student understanding of Delaware's natural resources
      • Deliver interpretive programs to participants of all ages in various contexts
      • Provide general customer service and park information to visitors;
      Distribute interpretive publications;
      Lead educational hikes trips; canoe kayak plus parks visits
