    Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Restaurant Host. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive until they leave. As a Restaurant Host, you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, seating them promptly, and ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Guest Reception:
      • Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
      • Manage the flow of guests into the dining area by maintaining an efficient seating plan and rotation.
    • Reservations Management:
      • Handle reservations via phone, online systems, and walk-ins.
      • Accurately record guest details and preferences.
      • Confirm reservations and coordinate special requests or accommodations.
    • Seating Arrangements:
      • Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable.
      • Provide menus and inform guests of any specials or promotions.
      • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the entrance and waiting area.
    • Customer Service:
      • Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
      • Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
      • Monitor the dining room to anticipate guests' needs and maintain service standards.
    • Administrative Duties:
      • Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant's services, hours, and menu items.
      • Process payments for to-go orders when necessary.
      • Assist with take-out orders and coordinate with delivery services.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is advantageous.
    • Skills:
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
      • Ability to multitask and handle busy periods efficiently.
      • Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation software.

      • Punctuality and reliability.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Capability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
