    Qualifications

    Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of electrical engineering and architecture. Basic understanding of concepts and processes associated with Building Information Modeling (BIM).


    General knowledge of building codes, National Electrical Code, industry standards, LEED, energy efficient design, and design criteria related to electrical systems.

    Experienced in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.

    Excellent teamwork and soft skills:

    ability to work and communicate with internal teams including other disciplines working on a project, and with external teams and various agencies.

    The estimated starting base salary for this role is $75,000-$95,000.

    Your Day to Day:
    Participate in the electrical design calculations (low/high power distribution systems, lighting, security/fire systems, data/telecommunication systems, etc.).

    Assume limited degree of judgment on performing routine aspects of electrical engineering assignments.

    Assist in the coordination of projects with other disciplines and project consultants.


    Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related and detailed steps or processes.

    Requirements

    Education


    Bachelors in electrical or architectural engineering from a 4-year, board-approved engineering curriculum, or 6 years of credits of combined board-approved engineering technology curriculum and/or engineering work experience.

    Experience

    Typically, 2 to 6 years of electrical engineering experience after educational requirements.
