**Job Description: Position: Picker/Packer**

The ideal candidate is detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace environment. This candidate will be picking orders, staging orders, and building packing materials. The candidate will have prior warehouse experience.

**Responsibilities:**

Ensure that the picked product conforms to the order sheet provided

Check product to ensure that it is in proper working condition and is not damaged

Build packing material used for pick-ups

Ensure that the quantity specified is picked by counting it several times before talking it to the packing pallet

Conducted physical inventories

Ensure that containers are marked properly and labeled appropriately

Measure and weigh packed container and put information on the packing

Seal packed containers by using glue, tape, and other fasteners

Make sure that product containers are loaded onto trucks using best safety products

Ensure that all necessary packaging documents are handed over to the delivery personnel at the time of loading

Shift and move products inside the delivery vehicle so that they are stacked properly

Enter picking, packing and loading information

Handle voice directed picking processes by following set protocols

Maintain daily production and packing records

Report any errors in product selection and quantity to the supervisor immediately

**Education, Skills & Experience**

1-2 year of prior warehouse experience

Good written and verbal communication skills Must work well in an fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities

Attention to detail and committed to managing problems through resolution

Being adept with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary

Experience with ERP systems is a plus
