Job Description:

As a Cloud Services Engineer specializing in Baremetal as a Service, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our BMaaS infrastructure.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our cloud services.

Your expertise in Golang, API development, microservices, Kubernetes, PXE, Ironic, and knowledge of networking, BIOS, Firmware, Redfish, IPMI, and security will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Design, implement, and maintain Baremetal as a Service (BMaaS) infrastructure in a cloud environment. + Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to manage and provision bare metal resources. + Collaborate with the Kubernetes team to integrate BMaaS with container orchestration. + Manage PXE and Ironic for automated provisioning of bare metal servers. + Work with hardware-level technologies including BIOS, Firmware, Redfish, and IPMI. + Ensure the security and compliance of BMaaS infrastructure, adhering to industry best practices. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to bare metal services. + Continuously optimize and scale the BMaaS infrastructure to meet growing demands. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement networking solutions. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
