    Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

    Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality care to patients and families, promoting health and preventing disease under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Perform general nursing care in accordance with nursing practice standards (30%);
    • Assist with preparation of equipment and assist physician/clinical provider during treatment, examination and testing of patients (20%);
    • Collect assessment data, prepare patient for examination and document clinical information on patient record (20%);
    • Order diagnostic tests as directed by registered nurse or physician/clinical provider and gather diagnostic tests and/or examine results prior to physician/clinical provider assessment (20%);
    • Schedule procedures and obtain authorizations as necessary (5%);
    • May give injections or medication, collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, and prepare them for testing (5%).

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum:
      • High school diploma/GED or equivalent;
      • Current state licensure as an LPN or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC);
      • CPR - American Heart Association;
      • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate;
      • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate;
      • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
    • Preferred:
      • 1 year healthcare experience;
      • State-approved IV course certification;
      • Knowledge of OASIS documentation and assessment process;
      • PALS or ACLS may be required based on specific area of practice.

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
