Position Title:
IT Technician / Network Administrator (Level 2 or Above)
$70k+ starting salary. Compensation based upon experience. Benefits available after 60 Days.
Please Note:
This is NOT a software programming position.
Must have experience in hardware / networking for consideration.
Responsibilities
Operational / Systems Management
Implement & Manage Microsoft Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 & Windows 10/11 Workstations
Configure Microsoft Servers / Domain Implementation / File Sharing / Active Directory
Maintaining / Implementing / Updating network workstations in network environment
Small & medium business network management – Domains & Workgroups
Second & Third level Firewall implementation and management
Field client helpdesk trouble tickets via phone / text / email and appropriately delegate
Document & track all troubleshooting information / resolution steps taken to resolve tickets
Implement diagnostic / antivirus software applications to resolve malware-related intrusions
Remote support for clients both locally and nationally in intense / critical downtime situations
Perform client follow-up for each resolved issue / Routine customer service checks
Qualifications
Requirements:
Academic & Certification
Hardware certifications- A+ (or equivalent)
2+ Years ofUniversityor equivalent courses
Experience
Must have minimum 3+ years in IT / Network Infrastructure Industry working with computer hardware (small business servers, workstations, firewalls, etc)
Sound knowledge of network environments- maintaining domain controllers, firewalls, switches
Proficient in both oral & written communication
Excellent typing / data-entry skills
Excellent comprehension skills and ability to focus & troubleshoot under pressure

Job Role Expectations:
40 hour work week with potential for extended hours as needed
Extensive driving (company car provided)
Clean driving record required
Must be able to lift oddly shaped equipment & boxes (Approx. 50lbs)
Must be able to crouch and stand periodically
Ability to travel out of state occasionally
Must be available to field IT-relatedsupportcalls after hours / weekends occasionally as needed
