Expertise in diagnosis and repair of systems including (but not limited to):
Rooftop Units, gas heating systems, split systems, walk-in coolers/freezer, ice machines, heat pumps, variable refrigerant flow systems, mini split systems, exhaust fans, energy recovery ventilators, makeup air units, chillers, boilers, hydronic pumps, and more.
As a HVAC/R Service Technician, you will repair, maintain, replace and retrofit all manner of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment for the benefit of our customers.
Come to work with your own hand tools and instruments of the tradeExpertise in electrical wiring diagrams and control troubleshootingAbility to go "on call" for a week at a time on rotating basis for after-hours coverageExcellent communication skills & customer relations - includes use of iPhone/iPad.
Act as "lead technician" on replacement jobs and supervise helpers Must be able to think outside the box to get the job done,Must demonstrate excellent problem solving skillsSafety on the road and on the jobsite at all timesExperience with DDC is a plusOther duties as assignedQualificationsMaster 1 Refrigeration or Pipefitter license is highly preferredJourneyman Refrigeration license in RI and/or MA7 -10 years of field experienceEPA universal refrigerant use certificationValid driver's licenseExperience in Commercial and Industrial environments Work EnvironmentThis position requires the employee to work both inside and outside.
The employee may be subject to loud noises and hot and cold temperatures while on work site. May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces. Will climb ladders and stairs every day.Will work on roofs and within Mechanical and boiler rooms Position Type Work day is based on 8-hour day between the hours of 7am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Overtime will be available and work during nights and weekends will be required. Must be available for work during On Call hours (Rotating). You will Travel - up to 50-mile radius from Providence will be required every day.Physical Demands:
