    Description

    Job Summary:
    Provides consultative services to medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff.

    Ensures appropriate drug selection, rational drug therapy, and accurate drug distribution for hospital inpatients and outpatients according to professional standards and practices.

    Advises patients on use of various medications, including dosage, side effects, and composition. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed

    Specifications:
    Bachelor of Science in nursing, health education or related field. Masters Degree preferred. Solid foundation in human sexuality, adolescent development, maternal-child health and issues of women's health care. Previous teaching experience required.
