    Description

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Chaplain to provide spiritual care and support to patients, families, and staff in various clinical areas.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide pastoral care and support to patients, family members, and staff during assigned on-call shifts.
    • Participate in the ministry of the department through the overnight on-call schedule, responding pastorally and timely to situations requiring care and support.
    • Respond to all pages, referrals, and consults during assigned shift, including traumas, deaths, and codes.
    • Document all pastoral care encounters in EPIC and the departmental log.
    • Complete administrative tasks, such as LMS modules and Employee Health requirements, by deadlines.

    Requirements

    • Masters' degree (MDiv) or equivalent preferred.
    • Ordination and ecclesiastical endorsement from denomination/faith group preferred but not required.
    • Completion of a minimum of one unit of ACPE CPE.

    Work Details

    This is a per diem position with variable hours and work assignment type onsite. The location of the job is Chapel Hill, NC, and the salary range is $18.66 - $26.51 per hour.
