    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated career and customer-oriented Mission/Ops SME IV in San Antonio, TX
    The Mission/Ops SME's primary function is to provide expert guidance and support in the areas of mission planning, operations, and execution
    This SME collaborates with various stakeholders to develop and refine mission scenarios, objectives, strategies, and plans
    The Mission/Ops SME IV supports advanced training requirements, as well as other TDLs where mission and operational expertise is essential for delivery success

    Performance shall include:

    • Conduct comprehensive analyses and assessments of mission requirements, risks, and constraints; develops operational procedures and guidelines to ensure mission success; and identifies and addresses potential operational challenges; and recommends appropriate solutions.
    • Monitor mission progress and provide real-time support and guidance to resolve issues; conduct post-mission evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement; and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to mission and operations
    *Please Note: This position requires years of experience developing both theoretical and practical expertise in specific mission areas and contributes to the successful implementation and execution of complex missions and operations

    Required Education and Experience:

    • A Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Operations Research, Military 12 years of experience.
    • 4 years of experience using mission analysis tools and software.
    • Proven experience in mission planning, operations, and execution, preferably in a complex and dynamic environment.
    • Strong knowledge of mission planning methodologies, operational procedures, and risk management.
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • A High School Diploma and 16 years of experience or an Associates and 14 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Degree.
    • A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education
    A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education

    Desired Education and Experience:

    • A Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Operations Research, Military Science)
    Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and/or SharePoint

    Security Clearance:

    • Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
    • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
    • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
    • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
