    Overview:
    We are excited to welcome an experienced contracts professional to our Program Management team You will thrive in this role if you possess strong working knowledge and understanding of government contracting processes, regulations, and compliance requirements, and have a proven track record in commercial and government contracting, both as a prime and sub-prime contractor. In addition to your experience with straight-forward and thorny contracts, you'll also have developed a strong background in accounting, and accounts receivable management. You'll utilize your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail every day.

    Responsibilities:

    Commercial Contracting Management:
    • Perform commercial and government contracting activities, including proposal preparation, review, compliance, and administration.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial client purchasing teams, including government agencies and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the contract lifecycle.
    • Work with the Project Managers to monitor contract performance, deliverables, and milestones to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
    Accounting and Accounts Receivable:
    • Execute administrative AR activities, including billing, collections, and customer communication.
    • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve collections if needed
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and other issues affecting accounts receivable.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of related financial transactions, invoices, and payments, in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with government regulations, contractual requirements, and internal policies and procedures related to government contracting and financial reporting
    • Participate in audits related to commercial and government contracts
    • Identify and assess risks associated with government contracts.
    • Maintain registrations on and other regulatory registrations.
    • Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices related to government contracting and financial management, and implement necessary updates and enhancements to policies and procedures.
    Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in contracts management
    • Proven experience in government contracting, including both prime and sub-prime contracting, with a strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
    • Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable, including billing and invoicing.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Deltek Costpoint, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability, resilience, and attention to detail.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred

    Nuts & Bolts:
    • Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000
    • On-site 3-5 days per week, flexible - at our global headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI
    • May be remote if in Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, Arizona or Ohio
