- 5+ years of supervisory experience (working in a Union setting is highly preferred)

Position Overview: Assistant Plant Manager
A fast-growing, nationwide energy company is on the lookout for an Assistant Plant Manager. As Assistant Plant Manager you will oversee, manage, and direct the day-to-day powerhouse & utilities O&M activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations and Maintenance Oversight: Oversee, manage, and direct the day-to-day powerhouse and utilities operations & maintenance activities within the powerhouse including power generation equipment, compressed air, reverse osmosis, heat exchangers, etc.
Team Management: Manage O&M Technicians (Union-employees) to ensure smooth operations and maintenance activities
Plant Outage Support: Assist with plant outages to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
Capital Improvement Planning: Develop long-term plans for capital improvements to enhance plant infrastructure and efficiency
Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that assets are operated safely while meeting the needs of the customer. Maintain a safe work environment; comply with all company, state, and federal safety regulations
Process Improvement and Continuous Innovation: Improve operational processes & drive continuous improvement initiatives
Performance Management: Develop performance goals and conduct performance reviews to foster employee growth and development
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare plant reports to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and ensure accountability
